The buttons themselves come in the simple format that you see on the home page. They are 110 pixels wide and magically transform into an arrow when you hover over them! Each and every button are exactly the same in dimensions, the only difference being colour. Therefore they are all priced at the same one-time price of £10. You may buy as many buttons as you like. You may also style the text of your button to make it stand out more. Here’s what you can do, and how much it costs:

• Blinking – £15 (Doesnt work in Mircosoft Internet Explorer)

You may ‘stack’ as many styles as you want. Note: Underline, Overline, Line-through and Blinking are known as decorations. Each button may only have one decoration.

With regards to the positioning of the buttons: Your button will be added following the previous button on the home page. The only real limitations of the buttosn is the amount of text that you can fit into them. However, should this become a major issue, I will consider making the buttons larger but this would probably also include a price rise.

Because it is excellent value advertising for your/your companies web site! Last month (December 2005) the site managed to attract 17,000 unique visitors, averaging 500+ every single day. • * Your button will be online as long as this site is. It is currently hosted on my web design companies web space which doesnt expire until 2008. It’s not likely that I will be suspending my business any time soon, so this web site will be online for a long long time.
• Offensive, abusive, obscene or 18+ links will not be accepted. I will notify you if your link is unacceptable, you can then choose to supply a different link for your button or have a refund.
• Link may only be to web pages (begin with http://).
• your button will only go live once I have received full payment for your button.
• I will aim to get your buttons online within 48 hours of receiving payment.
• Downtime is a possibility but a very rare occurance which I will try to keep to a minimum.

Why why WHY!?

Why did I create this web site? Well, the obvious one is to make money. Things aint cheap these days, including girlfriends, cars, houses and tuition fees so I need all the help I can get. You may have seen other quirky sites similar to this one offering spaces on web sites for cash and I think it’s a great idea! Theres no hiding that that is where my inspiration came from. But compared to those sites, I think Buy a Button is a lot better value for money and offers something a bit different. It is also another site to put in my portfolio.

There is no aim, no goal for this web site, other than to provide you or your business with some small, simple advertising that will last a life time and cost next to nothing.
